I can teach you some breathing exercises and chi-balancing techniques that should help you find your center and give you more control over your astral energy. Not sure if that's the same kind of energy you're using to set stuff on fire, but my other friends who do stuff with fire said it's helped them, so maybe...? It's also just relaxing in general, so there's that.
