he's not even sure how to take that reply. a dot of ink becomes a growing and growing blot where his pen remains on the paper, unsure of what to write. is she mad. she's mad, isn't she. it looks like crap, doesn't it. and he did also call it stupid. oh boy. he sleeps for a week and in the first half hour of waking up he's already gotten himself in trouble like, twice? three times? eventually he just writes the least powder-in-the-keg-y thing he can think of: )
