You still have to be pretty strong to use swords. Sure, they're sharp, but unless you've got some strength you can't hold them up right for a long time. Or swing them right. Or stop swinging them.

Punching through rocks is easy! Or—well, it takes years and years of training using a special technique. My parents taught it to me. You summon up all your energy and focus it in the palm of your hand, then make a fist and POW! You can blast through anything. Rocks, armor, walls, whatever you want.
